This town is about 160 miles southeast of Minneapolis (Minnesota), and it may be the most Norwegian town you will find this far away from Norway. At Vesterheim, discover a treasure trove of Norwegian-American folk art, historic structures that date as far back as the 1853 log house built by Norwegian immigrants, and even a folk art school that keeps local traditions alive and well.
