The cozy downtown has fun and quirky shops like CocoShack and cafes like Bean Broker Coffee House and Pub. And to learn more about Chadron鈥檚 past, there鈥檚 no better place than the Museum of the Fur Trade. Take a step back into the past in the sleepy hamlet of Minden. Known as Nebraska鈥檚 鈥淐hristmas City鈥, the town is a must-see during the Christmas season. Aside from the stunning 12,000 light display on Courthouse Square, they also celebrate with the annual Christmas Pageant, held every year since 1946! While Minden transforms into a Christmas wonderland during the month of December, it also comes alive in the summer, too!
