Although it resembles the Venezuelan flag, this is actually the flag of Colombia. The tricolor of yellow, blue, and red is incorporated into the flag designs of Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. This is because these countries used to all be apart of Gran Colombia, a state that was dissolved in 1830.
