The thriving city of Green Bay, Wisconsin sits on the bay of the same name, a sub-basin of Lake Michigan located at the mouth of the Fox River. The upper peninsula of the state of Michigan sits directly to the north of the city.

The oldest city in Wisconsin, the Green Bay area is blessed with natural resources and a large sheltered harbor. Paper, shipping and agricultural industries have long been the largest contributors to the local economy.

Downtown Green Bay is rich with an eclectic mix of restaurants, museums, arts and entertainment venues. The city has a zoo, botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuaries nearby.

    • The home stadium of the legendary Green Bay Packers is a year-round tourist destination with multiple amenities and attractions, in addition to the football games. Lambeau Field features the only retro look, which includes the original seating bowl, in the entire league. Lambeau Field houses the Packers Pro Shop, the Packers Hall of Fame and several dining and event amenities. Lambeau was voted the Best Stadium Experience in 2009 by ESPN out of all professional sports venues and Best Game Day Experience by a Sports Illustrated reader poll two years in a row.     • The National Railroad Museum welcomes guests of all ages to visit and experience the charm of the old locomotives.     • Opened in 1892, the historic Bay Beach Amusement Park blends the charm and feel of yesterday with the thrilling rides demanded by today's crowds. Bay Beach is one of the oldest parks in the USA and was the first amusement park to offer the (now familiar) log ride. The five-acre park includes 16 rides, event shelters, a dance hall, beach, rest rooms, picnic areas, playground, softball and volleyball areas. Bay Beach has rides for tiny tots as well as the familiar Ferris Wheel, Tilt a Wheel, Bumper Cars and the Scrambler. The best feature of all, the park only charges 25-75 cents per ride!
