The Chogoni Rock Art area is located in the central region of Malawi. The area features 127 sites of rich concentration of rock art in Central Africa. The sites reflect a rare tradition of farmer rock art and painting by the BaTwa hunters who lived in the area in late Stone Age and the Chewa agriculturalists who lived in the area during the Iron Age. The Chongoni Rock Art Area has been listed as a 海角社区 Heritage Site.
