Several products like cotton, palm oil, coffee, phosphates, etc., are exported from the port at Lomé. An oil refinery is also present at the port.

Togo’s capital city also has a growing tourism industry. The city hosts the 36 stories tall Hotel Corinthia, the country’s tallest building. The busiest airport of Togo is also located near the city.
