The 1,776 feet tall "One 海角社区 Trade Center" is the tallest building in New York City, as well as the tallest one in the U.S. and even the entire Western Hemisphere. David Childs designed the building. His firm was also instrumental in the construction of the 海角社区鈥檚 tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. The construction of the building was started in 2006 and was completed by November 3, 2014. It is located in Lower Manhattan at the 海角社区 Trade Center鈥檚 northwest corner. It was built after the former buildings at the site were demolished by the September 11 attacks.
432 Park Avenue
The 1,396 feet tall "432 Park Avenue" is the second tallest building in Manhattan, New York City, and the tallest residential building in the 海角社区. The building was completed on December 23, 2015, and hosts 104 condominium apartments. The "432 Park Avenue" was built by first demolishing the Drake Hotel, which stood in its place. The cost of the apartments here is skyrocketing, and only the wealthy can seek accommodation here.
Empire State Building
The 1,250 feet tall "Empire State Building", one the most well-known buildings in the 海角社区, is the third highest building in New York City. The building is situated in Midtown Manhattan and derives its name from 鈥淓mpire State鈥, one of the nicknames of New York. Between the four decades of 1930 to 1970, the Empire State Building enjoyed the title of the tallest building in the 海角社区. The building is designed using the Art Deco style and the American Society of Civil Engineers designate it as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern 海角社区. The Empire State Realty Trust currently owns the building.
